The food at the restaurant is highly rated and includes a luxurious atmosphere with an open patio for drinks, dinner and dancing. Los Altos also features full-fledged tennis facilities. La Rinconada is a private club located in the hills of Los Gatos. It has a beautiful new clubhouse with a big fireplace and warm, inviting chairs that overlook the first tee box. This family-friendly club house has a course that is a little shorter than others but is still very challenging. Its gorgeous signature hole, number 14, has been used as the cover for NCGA Magazine. It has a downhill par-four with a lake and huge bunker to the front and left of the green. You will love taking the kids to this country club. During the holidays, it has a Santa Claus, who the kids can take pictures with.

This gorgeous golf course is one of the most photogenic venues for a wedding in San Jose. There are two spiral staircases that lead down to the reception /cocktail hour area. A skylight is directly overhead the spiral staircases, so you will have plenty of natural light for photos. The cocktail lounge is a spacious room with a nice patio outside with seats and umbrellas. The views are not too shabby for golfers either. You’ll want to take your time on the links to soak in the scenery. The creeks are very pretty, but perhaps the most breathtaking feature is the huge waterfall on the golf course. Overall, the Silver Creek Valley Country Club is a classy, four-star golf course where you can enjoy meals on white tablecloths, beautiful views and a pleasantly challenging golf course.

Los Lagos is a down-to-earth golf course that is perfect for practice. The course consists of a double-decker driving range that is well lit at night, making it a popular nighttime golf destination. Complete with 18 holes, golfing here can be as cheap as $12 to play on twilight. The locals find this a great track to practice their iron skills with nine par-threes. The par-fives are challenging, and the fairways and greens have moderate slopes and breaks. The clubhouse isn’t super fancy but provides a full bar and good eats after working up an appetite on the green. Women golfers get a nice deal at Los Lagos; once a month on a Thursday, females play for free from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
